Pipes don't wait for daylight to fail, and our Mattoon dispatch team doesn't wait for morning to respond. We dispatch Mattoon units carrying industrial extraction pumps, air movers, and commercial dehumidifiers already loaded on the truck.
Too many Mattoon, IL families have called a big national number only to get bounced through hold music before a random subcontractor shows up hours later, so Hirex Water Damage built its Mattoon operation differently. Every technician on our Mattoon roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our crew leads carry IICRC water restoration certifications and have logged real hours on Category 1, 2, and 3 losses, so Water Removal in Mattoon isn't a side service we tacked on β it's the reason the company exists. We carry full general liability coverage and are licensed to operate throughout Mattoon, IL, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Our Mattoon, IL-based equipment cache means drying gear is already close by, not stuck in a truck three states away.
Ask any Mattoon property manager who has dealt with a burst supply line at 3am β the difference between a crew that shows up ready and one still loading a truck at the shop is measured in gallons of water soaking into your subfloor. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Mattoon call at a time.
Water damage doesn't always look dramatic at first β some of the costliest Mattoon jobs we've handled began as a small, easy-to-miss problem. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse β call our Mattoon line and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day emergency or something we can schedule.
We size the Mattoon response to the actual damage β a single-room extraction gets a two-person crew, a commercial loss gets the full fleet β nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a Mattoon property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers based on actual psychrometric calculations, not a standard equipment count per room, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
On the residential side in Mattoon, we handle the flood-cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so your home is ready to rebuild, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Multi-unit and commercial Mattoon properties get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment to cover the real square footage, not a token setup β we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination β our Mattoon crews are trained for exactly that protocol.
We apply antimicrobial treatment during every Mattoon drying job specifically to head off mold before it starts, and we'll flag any area that needs deeper remediation.
You get a written estimate before any equipment runs, not a mystery total handed to you after the fact.
Because our equipment cache sits inside Mattoon, IL, most Mattoon calls see a technician on-site in under 60 minutes.
Our paperwork is built to match what adjusters expect, and we'll speak with your insurer directly on your behalf.
We don't call a job finished until the moisture meter agrees, and if it doesn't, we return at no additional cost.
Tell our Mattoon dispatcher what's happening β we'll ask a few quick questions to send the right equipment on the first trip.
A licensed technician heads to your Mattoon address with extraction and drying equipment already loaded.
Standing water comes out first; drying equipment gets placed only after we've mapped exactly where moisture is hiding.
We re-check moisture levels daily until materials hit dry standard, then hand you full documentation for your records or your insurer.
We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and we won't sign off on a Mattoon job until those readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
You'll find that exact commitment printed on your Mattoon paperwork, not just mentioned over the phone. We try to send the original technician back for any follow-up so you're not re-explaining the job to someone new.
